Prince Cletus Sunday Iloabanafor and the Geneith Health Competition team have honored Chief Emmanuel Umenwa, praising his two decades of transformative leadership in Nigeria's pharmaceutical sector. The Managing Director of CEOAFRICA and initiator of the Geneith Health Competition (GHC), Prince Cletus Sunday Iloabanafor, alongside members of the GHC team, has joined the staff and associates of Geneith Pharmaceuticals to celebrate the Executive Chairman of the company, Chief Emmanuel Umenwa, on his birthday.

As the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Geneith Pharmaceuticals Limited, Chief Umenwa brings over two decades of experience to the industry. He is a member of the Institute of Directors and an active Rotarian. His career has been marked by several high-profile recognitions, including the Pillar of Pharmacy Award from the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (Lagos State Branch) and the National Outstanding Leadership Performance Award from the National Association of Polytechnic Students.
Chief Umenwa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an MBA from the University of Lagos. His influence extends beyond the health sector, as he serves on the boards of various organisations across the telecommunications, hospitality, and pharmaceutical industries.
Beyond corporate leadership, Umenwa’s philanthropic activities have focused heavily on healthcare access, medical support, and health awareness. Under his direction, Geneith Pharmaceuticals has been a consistent supporter of anti-malaria campaigns and various public health initiatives aimed at fighting preventable diseases in Nigerian communities.
