A high-achieving Nile University graduate is mentoring 40 top mathematics students from the South-East in an intensive four-week program focused on robotics and drone construction. The initiative seeks to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical technological innovation for Nigeria's next generation.

Chizoba, a distinguished Mechatronics Engineering graduate of Nile University, has launched a dedicated mission to inspire young innovators by mentoring 40 of the brightest mathematics talents from the South-East. The program provides intensive practical training in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the top winners of the South-East Maths Olympiad, specifically selected from Enugu.
The four-week initiative is designed to move beyond theoretical learning by exposing students to cutting-edge technologies through direct, hands-on experience. Participants are expected to engage in advanced engineering tasks, including building drones from the ground up, to gain a comprehensive understanding of how robotics and artificial intelligence function in real-world applications.
The mentorship is led by a young engineer whose academic achievements have already transitioned into significant technological breakthroughs. Chizoba recently graduated with an outstanding 4.96 CGPA, a feat that served as the foundation for her innovative final-year project. At Nile University, she successfully designed, constructed, and programmed a 3D printer from scratch.
Furthermore, she developed a unique technology capable of converting discarded plastic water bottles into 3D printing filaments. This achievement provides a sustainable solution that merges environmental conservation with advanced manufacturing. The organizers of the mentorship program expressed high expectations for the impact her expertise will have on the participating students.
This girl, Chizoba, just graduated from Mechatronics at Nile University with a CGPA of 4.96. She will be with us for the next four weeks teaching our children hardcore Robotics and AI, all practicals. Her final-year project was constructing and programming a 3D printer from scratch. She also built unique technology that converts waste water bottles into 3D printing filaments. These next four weeks are going to be on fire. Our children will also build drones from the ground up.

Speaking on her role as a mentor, Chizoba described the opportunity as a privilege to give back to the community. She aims to equip the younger generation with the practical skills necessary to shape their future careers in competitive global industries. Her approach focuses on delivering excellence through the application of the knowledge she acquired during her five years of intensive study.
I'm so grateful to have been selected to impart the knowledge I've gained throughout my five years of studying Mechatronics Engineering to the younger generation of students. By God's grace, I will deliver excellence.

Beyond the physical classroom, Chizoba extends her reach through her YouTube channel, "Zozo Pearl," where she shares educational and technology-related content. The mentorship program is expected to strengthen interest in emerging technologies among secondary school students, demonstrating the potential for Nigerian youth to compete at the highest levels of the global technology stage.
